Art urbain à Berlin

Vous avez peut-être déjà entendu parlé de Berlin en tant que ville avec une forte culture alternative. Le street art ou art urbain y est notamment très présent. Mais il n'est pas forcément accessible au premier venu. Voici une visite alternative destinée aux amateurs de ce mode d'expression et à ceux qui voudraient découvrir Berlin autrement.

Pour les novices, le street art est une appellation en vogue qui charrie avec elle de nombreux types d'expression allant du tag à l'installation artistique élaborée, en passant par la mosaïque, l'affiche ou encore le pochoir...

Pendant une journée, j'ai visité quelques-uns des recoins berlinois les plus marqués par ces formes d'expression urbaine.

Ma visite s'est fortement inspirée d'un parcours publié en 2010 par un artiste et guide touristique allemand sur le site everytrail (anglais), avec en prime une application gratuite pour téléphone mobile, téléchargeable. Les quartiers ciblés par ce parcours sont Kreuzberg et Friedrichshain.

J'ai ajouté au parcours photographique quelques nouveautés du cru 2011, quelques trouvailles personnelles et bien sûr une poignée de clichés des graffiti présents sur les restes du mur de Berlin, du côté de l'East Side Gallery.
